About the role

As a construction worker at Mark & Grund, you will be involved in various construction projects such as houses, residential areas, roads, and facilities. Drainage, sewage, energy drilling, paving, and foundation work are major areas of work.

Job tasks may include:

• Reading drawings and work descriptions
• Performing simple calculations
• Working with laser and GPS equipment
• Piping and utility work
• Site preparation, filling, and restoration
• Paving, stone setting, and landscape maintenance

We are looking for someone who:

Wants to help develop the outdoor environments of Västerbotten throughout the different seasons of the year. An exciting, challenging, and varied job.

• Has experience in civil engineering/construction (meritorious)
• Takes responsibility and is meticulous
• Enjoys both independent work and teamwork
• Is solution-oriented and positive

The position requires a B driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.

About the company

Mark & Grund was founded in 2002. We have our office and our own workshop in Vännäsby and provide a wide range of civil engineering and construction services in Västerbotten. We carry out all types of earthworks for companies, authorities, and private individuals. With short decision-making paths, we are flexible and efficient and can perform both large and small jobs with high quality.

We prioritize the environment, working conditions, and quality in our work and are certified according to the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Scope and start date

The position is a full-time employment and the start date is according to agreement. Salary is set according to the applicable collective agreement.

The work is carried out in Umeå/Vännäs and surrounding areas.
